The Course
Castle Pines - this tournament is known for its unique scoring system (Stableford), altitude (you think they hit it far already?), and hospitality (best food and especially milkshakes on Tour).
History of the Stableford Scoring System
In a nutshell - they use a "Modified" Stableford Scoring System which awards points as follows (and you are going to be so sick of hearing them explain it during the telecast by the end of Sunday's round): There is a cut after both 26 and 54 holes... and all you need to know is that this is the one week that the highest score wins.
Double Eagle: +8 points
Eagle: +5 points
Birdie: +2 points
Par: 0 points
Bogey: -1 point
Double Bogey or more: -3 points
The Field
The field suffers here - it is a great golf course but falls the week after the British Open and many of the world's top players take a break after having focused so hard at a major. Pick someone who can throw it low at this event.
Fantasy Cheat Sheet
some decent info - but I would not say it lives up to its name as a fantasy cheat sheet at all... a Sportsline ploy for page views as the sport continues to gain more fans and attention.

Last Year's Results
Tom Pernice Jr. ripped off two +12 days to take a commanding lead, and beat Chris Riley by one in a relatively low scoring International (remember higher numbers are better in this one).
History
Just like last week... Ken Green is a past winner here - but he really wanted to win the elusive GHO.

Weather
There can be some crazy weather that rolls in very quickly here... there are usually a few delays each year - which the players thoroughly enjoy given the great clubhouse and food.
