The Course
TPC at Deere Run. One of the newer TPC's on Tour - more and more keep popping up (more revenue for the Tour if the events are played at courses they own). This one is located between the Rock and Mississippi rivers in Silvis, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa.

The Field
The field suffers here - it is a great golf course but falls the week after the British Open and many of the world's top players take a break after having focused so hard at a major. Pick someone who can throw it low at this event.

Weather
Usually hot and humid each year... head for the corporate tents to duck the rain and evening lightening... they'll let you in under duress if you make enough of a scene.
